Read two published research papers from the scientists at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Oakland Research Institute.
The research team behind the Healright formula originally nick-named their nutrient-dense food “CHORI bar” and had two studies published in the Federation of American Societies Experimental Biology Journal.

Many outcomes noted on this website reference two published research studies in a century-old, well-respected journal (details below), where the base formula for Healright was tested with participants who remained adherent to a two-serving a day Healright formula protocol over an 8-week period. Outcomes were assessed at the end of the 8-week period. In the research studies, lean-mass and normal-weight individuals realized results more quickly that inflamed individuals and/or those who are overweight/obese with a BMI of 25 or higher. For inflamed individuals and/or those who are overweight/obese with a BMI of 25 or higher it may require more than 8-weeks of two servings/day to see the desired outcomes. Healright recommends a commitment to the two-serving a day, an 8-week protocol to optimize outcomes. results may vary. Consult your doctor or dietitian for guidance and to answer medical questions related to Healright and its effect on you and your health instead of a condition. Do not discontinue or alter any medication regimens that your doctor has prescribed. The two research studies which are referenced are both published in The Federation of American Societies for Experimental Biology Journal (FASEB) on the “CHORI Bar” (the research project name while the Healright formulation was under scientific development). The studies were co-authored authored by the Nutrition and Metabolism Center, Children’s Hospital Oakland Research Institute, Oakland, California, USA; and U.S. Department of Agriculture–Agricultural Research Service–Western Regional Research Center, Albany, California, USA.
